Simon Edwards is Chief Financial Officer at Bloom Energy, where he oversees the global finance organization and helps advance Bloom’s strategy as demand accelerates for reliable, onsite power across the digital economy.
A seasoned finance executive with a proven track record of scaling technology businesses, Simon brings deep expertise across financial operations, business model innovation, and digital infrastructure.
He comes to Bloom from AI-inference leader Groq, where he joined as CFO to lead financial operations during a period of rapid growth and later served as CEO following a strategic licensing transaction with NVIDIA.
Simon’s prior leadership roles include CFO positions at leading technology companies Conga and ServiceMax, where he built and led high-performing teams through periods of transformational growth and sustained margin expansion. Earlier, he spent over a decade at GE in progressively senior finance roles, including leadership positions within GE Digital and GE’s Corporate Audit Staff.
Simon holds a BS in Computing for Real Time Systems from the University of the West of England and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
