Head of Services and Systems Operations

Deepak Shukla is Head of Services and Systems Operations at Bloom Energy, where he leads the teams responsible for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing fuel cell systems deployed across the globe. He also oversees the Customer Success organization, ensuring exceptional service and performance for Bloom’s customers.

Since joining Bloom in 2008, Deepak has played a pivotal role in building and scaling the Services organization, enabling operational excellence in diverse regions where Bloom systems are deployed. His leadership has been instrumental in developing the infrastructure and processes that support Bloom’s growing global footprint.

Prior to Bloom Energy, Deepak served as Director of Customer Support for the Americas at AspenTech, a software company specializing in asset optimization and performance monitoring. Deepak brings more than three decades of experience in process innovation, including leadership of startups related to new process innovation, service business and strategy in the energy industry.

Deepak holds an MS and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University and has co-authored several academic publications. He is also a named inventor on two Bloom Energy patents.
